Overall Satisfaction with VMTurbo Operations Manager
This product is used by our SaaS Operations Team to optimize our virtual environment. Within the first week of using VMTurbo Operations Manager we were able to decommission two unnecessary hosts in our VMware environment, and have since decommissioned a third host. That brought us immediate cost savings, as we are currently in a hosted environment where we lease our equipment. It allows us to more efficiently use the hardware and eliminate congestion on hosts.
- It immediately makes suggestions for improving the efficiency of our hosts. We can see where VMem or vCPU are being over or under utilized, and make changes where it makes sense.
- We quickly decided to allow VMTurbo Operations Manager to make the changes it suggested to assure service performance. This is what allowed us to remove three unnecessary hosts from one data center for immediate cost savings.
- It gives us the ability to create our own dashboards. We have found the existing dashboards to be quite helpful, but having the ability to create new ones will allow us to see other aspects of the environment.
- It seems pretty easy to use to me.
- This has had a very positive impact on our ROI. We were able to return three hosts to the datacenter which we had been leasing, at a cost of approximately $1250 per month each.
- vROps
VMTurbo was much easier to implement. Within 15 minutes it was up and running, where VROps was a couple days for installation, and then still needed to be configured. We don't have the manhours available to spend that much time on configuration.
