Overall Satisfaction with VMTurbo Operations Manager
We leverage the capabilities of VMTurbo Operations Manager across our entire VMWare environment to assist with diagnosing issues and automatically implement changes based on recommendations from the software.
- Diagnosing issues, and providing corrective recommendations.
- Supports VM Host capacity planning.
- If enabled, the software will correct issues it finds in real-time without user intervention.
- Doesn't provide detailed information across the entire VMWare stack (ie. virtual networking, vStorage etc.)
- Automation, we do not require staff to monitor and make changes, the software if allowed will correct issues automatically.
- The software provides capacity and density statistics which has enabled us to maximize our hosts and delay spending on additional computers.
- Testing, the software allows us to make explore certain scenarios in the environment to determine the impact without having to implement fully.
Of course VMWare has it's own toolset that provides a much broader picture of the environment. We found their tools to be excellent as well, but being a not for profit public organization the pricing was more than we could afford based on the functionality we were looking for.
