Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We needed an affordable solution to provide an online presence consolidating the data from two on-premises systems. Combined with a software for remote access, our client can now visualize the data easily.
We have another system to provide potential customers a platform to evaluate whether our software solution would be advantageous to them financially in terms of ROI. Again, Vultr provided an affordable platform.

Vultr allowed us to have an online presence without breaking the bank
Vultr allows us to offer an online access to the business services that we offer our clients beyond the systems installed on premises.
We are planning on using Vultr more in the coming months as a standard feature to our Real-Time Energy Monitoring platform

Price to Performance

As per my previous answers, Vultr enabled us to create a cloud presence to our software platform. Being a small engineering company AWS and Azure are too costly and complicated for our needs.
Cost and scalable capabilities answered our needs.

Global Reach

since our market is only the USA, this is not applicable. Moreover, considering the nature of the data that we collect and the market that we serve, we would not want our VMs to be hosted outside the continental US.

Azure Virtual Machines

AWS and Azure are too complicated and costly for small businesses like ours.

the business model is very suitable to small business which do not need the complexity or the cost of AWS or Azure.
I can imagine that it is probably not the best solution when security trumps cost. Same when the system needs to answer numerous concurrent transactions.
