At our company, we use WatchGuard Network Security to protect our network infrastructure and safeguard our digital assets against various cyber threats. The product provides us with advanced security features such as intrusion prevention, threat detection and response, web content filtering, and VPN connectivity, among others.One of the biggest business problems that WatchGuard Network Security addresses for us is the increasing number and sophistication of cyber attacks that we face on a daily basis. With this product in place, we have been able to significantly reduce the risk of cyber attacks and ensure that our network remains secure and reliable.
- Intrusion Prevention: provides an advanced Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) that uses real-time threat intelligence to detect and block known and unknown threats. The IPS inspects all network traffic, including encrypted traffic, to identify and block any malicious activity before it can enter the network.
- Application Control: offers granular application control that enabled us to control which applications can access the network and how they are used.
- Web Content Filtering: provides web content filtering capabilities that allow to control and monitor access to websites based on their content. This helps to prevent employees from accessing inappropriate or malicious websites, which can compromise the security of the network.
- Cloud management interface can be slow and less responsive than the on-premise management interface
- User Interface is generally intuitive and easy to use but could be improved in terms of user experience and design. Certain features are difficult to find or require multiple clicks to access.
- Access Portal RDP feautere is pretty limited
