Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
Used as a firewall to lockdown insecurities, proxy for more secure websurfing, VPN utility for all us to manage remotely and users to work from home. Once we are already setup at each of our clients, it's just steady maintenance and adding things we introduce into the client. We use SSLVPN for some clients and others we've upgraded them to IKEv2. One client we actively are using WatchGuard Network Security Authpoint as well.
Pros
- VPN
- Support
- Policies
- Proxies
- Clear Network Monitoring tool
Cons
- Simpler way to access logs from users without WatchGuard Network Security Dimensions
- Allow ports to be altered from within a policy instead of having to create a new one or edit the one used.
- Make logging option on the front page as a tickbox to avoid having to go to second tab and then clicking the logging button and then ticking the log feature.
- Ease of use since we have it in all of our clients
- VPN setup is reliable and when it isn't, we upgraded to IKEv2 which helped
- safe and secure with WatchGuard Network Security Authpoint.
I am an employee, but my boss does deal with a partner, I am unsure of the details for it.
it works great. There are many features we don't use in most clients. The clients that use the lockdowns, IKEv2 and proxies are working just fine after the setup.
- SonicWall Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
It works well. My current company uses WatchGuard Network Security and I am way more comfortable with it's capabilities and options.
