Overall Satisfaction with Webex Events (formerly Socio)

We use Webex Events at our organization to run our annual summit with stakeholders from many areas. The platform addresses the challenges of planning a hybrid event, allowing easy registration and access to content for guests, whether in-person or virtual. It also solves challenges with managing participants and sharing material in various time zones.

Pros

  • Webex Events lets us adjust the registration and communication options depending on who is attending.
  • Through the Production Studio feature, we can live stream sessions with our branding, making them feel cohesive and professional.
  • The platform also provides analytics that help us track attendee engagement and make well-informed choices during the event.

Cons

  • Some first-time mobile app users have difficulty understanding the navigation, which sometimes leads to confusion.
  • Setting up third-party tools also requires some learning, since more detailed documentation would make things easier.
  • Adopting Webex Events improved our event management, increasing the number of satisfied attendees and their participation.
