Overall Satisfaction with Webex Events (formerly Socio)

Through the use of Webex Events (formerly Socio), we hold hybrid events that serve in-person and virtual participants. The platform allows us to coordinate experiences on various platforms in an effort to respond to the intricacies involved in controlling dual mode events.

Pros

  • The ability of the platform to blend live streaming with interactive features guarantees that virtual attendees remain active.
  • Its all-encompassing registration system is capable of supporting numerous ticket types, and the analytics give a look into the interaction of attendees in both formats.

Cons

  • Improving synchronization between in-person and virtual aspects (real-time Q&A’s, for example) would further also integrate the experience of the attendee.
  • The extension of the functionalities related to managing the on-site attendees of an event may lead to better coordination of the overall event.
  • The use of Webex Events (formerly Socio) in our hybrid events has extended our geographic footprint and reach and inclusivity whereas this has enabled us to reach a larger audience.
  • This expansion has seen more involvement and greater stakeholder satisfaction.

Nevertheless, in events that concern only in-person attendance with no virtual counterpart, certain features can still be unutilized.
