Overall Satisfaction with Webex Events (formerly Socio)

It helped us reach to the wider audience both inside and outside the organization, for the meetings like town hall, connecting to external vendor base etc. The limitations with apps like team or zoom are their reach when it comes to wider audience, WebEx Events solves that very problem for our company.

Pros

  • It's event management functionality is great, one stop solution for the same.
  • Can move from physical to virtual format quite easily
  • Data gathering and insights from large scale meeting are certainly useful

Cons

  • It's interface needs to be more intuitive, functionality still needs to be searched.
  • Can add QR generation functionality for one stop signing/registering.
  • Connections and credentials working with Microsoft office suite would be great.
  • Reputational impact would be seamless connectivity with the audience, no more drops or lags
  • Less cost of set up when you compare with typical confrence setup or physical meet ups
  • Ease of access to registration and vendor data
WebEx Events is definitely better suited when it comes to access the large scale audience and getting data from the participants, while providing them ease of access. However for small huddles and meeting set ups, the wider reach of Zoom or teams helps in connecting quickly, instead of explaining about the new app.

Well suited for Large scale townhall, vendor conference, regional meet ups and event, basically wherever one way functionality suites the best, that is when the organizer has the control over messaging. Not very well suited for one on one meetings, quick calls as other apps have better reach in that segment.
