Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used Whova when I attended the Social Media Marketing World as an attendee.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Build a community quickly around niche and general interests.
Capacity to create topic discussions and meetups.
It was easy to consult my keynotes and session schedule.

Cons

Way too many notifications and some were useless for things did not necessarily need notification (like shared interests with other attendees).
The meetups I was attending were not added to my keynote and session calendar. Therefore I had to consult the conference agenda and the meetup schedule in addition to my regular work calendar.

It was actually great to build a community before an event. I was able to meet people from all around the world and plan meetups with them even before I arrived at the conference. Once there, it was easy to meet friends and stay in touch.
