Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

We use it to keep up to date with legislative changes and to review our polices against good practice. We make use of the templates and and the how to guides. It has been useful in training up colleagues with the flow chart guides. It is more for the legislative track we use it, as we have some outdated practices with being a historic company.

  • The search function, it brings up everything even unrelated information
  • It would be good to have an areas for other companies to talk to each other like a forum
  • More availability of the online chat
  • It has saved time on research
  • It has massively reduce time on case law when it comes to D&G cases around 5-10% less time
  • Again saved on legal fees
it has improved our compliance, again we use it for D&G cases to see what custom practice has been, and to keep up with the changing law. We use it regularly for the legislative tracker, more so with the IA unrest. It has also help ups modernize out polices and ways of thinking.
It has help with our HR advisors in the day to day running of the business. It has supported our HRBP in their work. It has massively supported our HR function again during IA periods, and it has allowed us to support our managers to manager by allowing us to update our polices.
Other platforms do not provide the same value for money, it is not user friendly and doesn't seem to be as informative. Brightmine is easy to use and it simplifies things, and doesn't always talk with a legal stance. It easily guides you through the process and allowing you to learn through it, it's just the search function that needs improved.

It is well suited for us currently as we are reviewing and updating our polices and it allows us to start with best practice and allows us to use the template and change the guidance to suit our company and our practices to fit the way we operate. It also speeds up the process to take the policy for consultation.
