Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

I utilize Brightmine for handbook and legislative updates, to create policies, check on state legislation, and job descriptions. I use many of the workflows and I look forward to the future Webinars that will be coming soon. I utilize the state legislation piece to research potential acquisitions in states other than those we currently conduct business in.

Brightmine keeps me well informed on any compliance matters I need to know such as paid time off during COVID, new leave laws, shifting deadlines such as for EEO-1 reporting in 2023. It provides up-to-date information on what is to be included in Anti-harassment training, safety trainings and any other trainings required. In today's political landscape where many states are implementing bans it is extremely important to stay up-to-date.

Brightmine is easier to use - both sites contain same information. They are both really good products. I used BLR HR Hero many years ago (over ten years ago). I do think it is easier to find what I am looking for in Brightmine. The webinars will be a great tool that I am looking forward to Brightmine adding.

Specific scenarios relate to the various counties in a state and understanding if there is different legislation for those counties. This is extremely helpful when crafting policies for those regions. The interactive workflows are great for many different areas such as NLRA protections, exempt vs. non-exempt status, ACA, overtime payments, etc.
