Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

I use Brightmine to obtain HR advice, particularly where the organisation faces grey area scenarios. For example, we recently had an unusual situation of having to manage and individual who did not have the required qualification we needed for them to complete their duties and Brightmine was great in helping us address this by providing template letters and guidance. It is also great for keeping up to do date with the latest changes to employment law and cases.

Cons

  • The letter templates are sometimes harsh in wording and so would be good to have a variety i.e. a softer approach template, medium and then harsh as sometimes they aren't suitable to use and need quite a lot of amending.
  • Helped mitigate risk as looked at the guidance on the site before acting when dealing with difficult employee scenarios.
It has had a medium impact and is used as a second check on new employment law updates which are published.

Brightmine is well suited to our organisation as it builds on the knowledge that we have in our exisiting team. The add on to use it for benchmarking data is also great and provides detailed information. If you are looking for rounded HR Advice, then I would definitely recommend.
