Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
Ziflow is an integral part of our creative production process - it allows the marketing department to interface with other teams to get feedback on deliverables easily. We have used Ziflow for sell sheets, web pages, brochures, videos (instructional and marketing), and other collateral.
Pros
- Best feature: side by side version comparison.
- Commenting: easy to add and to include multiple instances in one comment.
- Sharing proofs inside and outside the organization.
Cons
- Comments with instances that span multiple pages force you to zoom out, which can be rough on multi-page proofs. We end up making a comment on each instance for ease of review.
- Maybe it is in there, but I would love to be able to upload a new version and review/make comments before any of the other reviewers can see it—to double-check for errors. Maybe there is a verification stage first before releasing it to the other reviewers.
- We used to do all reviews by email, but it was hard to consolidate, and sometimes the wrong version was referred back to. This has saved countless manual hours of management and tracking.
- Now we can see the status of each proof at a glance, no need to read email chains!
- Version comparison is a LIFESAVER.
