Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

Restricting users from unapproved sites, malicious site blocking and allow access to pre-approved sites.

Pros

  • Blocks malicious sites
  • restricts sites according to policies
  • user awareness to suspicious sites

Cons

  • URL category identification
  • changing of URL categories without notification
  • we had a large upper management group at an event that had captive portal issues. This was a big issue that could have caused a lot of hurt. Not sure if it would have a monetary value though
not sure if I'm just used to the portal but it has been really easy to work with and learn

We have had great success with blocking malicious sites and restricting access to sites we need to restrict. Could use work on URL categorization and changing when users are not informed. Captive portal is a continuous issue as well.
