Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

We use Zscaler Internet Access in order to inspect our traffic and for anti malware, dns/fqdn filtering, and secure zero trust internet access.

Pros

  • ssl inspection
  • url filtering
  • firewall

Cons

  • gatekeeping of features
  • full inspection of encryption traffic
Some features are gatekept on the backend making it difficult to follow documentation some times as well as for a compacted UI.
it works better and integrates better with the rest of my security stack.

Zscaler Internet Access is great for mobile devices and endpoints that could be on multiple or personal networks with questionable security. Zscaler Internet Access is not ideal for shared devices or workstations.
