Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) is helping with our security posture and visibility on sensitive business information. As a forward proxy, it has been extremely useful in identifying threats and vulnerabilities . We use the URL filtering and categorization to achieve our security goals around web browsing.

Pros

  • Forward proxy
  • SIPA
  • Content filtering

Cons

  • Latency. Certain regions appear to have consistent issues to a point where in some cases it's unusable and has to be disabled to improve network performance.
  • it has been useful for providing secure access from well known endpoints to sensitive systems, especially our organization which doesn't have public IP space of our own
While Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) is great and easy to use overall, there are gaps in performance in certain scenarios that require additional purchases.

Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) is great for visibility where users have broad egress access. The visibility and filtering features have been extremely valuable to my organization. In general, it is great when the regions it is being used from has good bandwidth/latency
