Overall Satisfaction with Zscaler Internet Access

we are using Zscaler Internet Access to help secure our users internet data exposure and enforce compliance to company policy. WE have had issues with staff accessing un secure sites under the pretence of trying to do work however this was not the case.

Pros

  • easier deployment
  • the reporting is great
  • the ease of use for back end users helps manege things better

Cons

  • the training material is not great
  • having a high level overview of all platforms under one screen would help
  • compliance protection
  • current negative due to complexity in deployment alongside Palo
Currently we have discovered that we have to disable the client connector rather frequently due to outages/issues. I believe this is due to our deployment and not Zscaler Internet Access itself but currently within our org it not been a smooth rollout
Palo support has been a large enough negative experience on multiple occasions that we have been looking to move away from the platform and Zscaler Internet Access looks to be a suitable replacement

everything appears to be great so far however I'm cautious with the product as a whole due to what feels like being promised the world. I don't have cause to believe currently the claims of function are not possible but normally if something seems to good to be true it normally is hence the reluctance to give higher until further exp
