10to8 Appointment Scheduling Software vs. BookSteam vs. Flash Appointments

I still give it a 10 for appointment scheduling. It has a lot of great features for the price. Even the free option has great features. it's easy to set up and get started. It saves so much time when scheduling appointments with other people.

BookSteam is suited pretty much for any business that takes appointments. It's perfect for businesses who don't want the hassle of phone scheduling, rescheduling, calling people back and talking to the answering machine. Everything is automated and done online. I believe they even offer class scheduling, so that is also perfect for businesses who need group scheduling.

• For startups on a low budget, it offers a free plan that allows you one or two integrations.
• You can embed your booking page that you create directly on 10to8 to your website using a shortcode.
• You can charge for appointments booked in advance which helps to eliminate the frustration of clients of no show clients.
• You can customize your booking page to fit in with your business trading times, block out lunches, holidays and special days.
• You can ensure the appointments are synced if with your existing Google, outlook and office 365 calendars.

• Online scheduling, canceling, re-booking customers.
• Taking payments online via PayPal at the time the client books.
• Sending out sms reminders and sms confirmations so clients will not miss their event.

• Some of the CRM tools are limited or slow; perhaps an ability to customize for specific needs.
• More ability to customize the schedule page.
• They need an APP for iPhone and Android.

• Might be a more complex tool - needs its learning curve
• The possibility to use it as a way to provide classes or webinars in series may be a bit complicated

Easy to use and set up. It has a lot of great features for the price, such as syncing to calendars, auto-reminders, allows clients to reschedule or cancel, and a widget for our website.

I've only had to reach out to customer service twice, but both times the people that I spoke to were quick to respond, knew what they were talking about and were able to walk me through fixing the issues.

Pricing for the options was not as affordable as 10 to 8. I could only use it for a short-term (days) for free, which wasn't appealing to me. I eventually upgraded on 10 to 8 after a few months of use because it gave me enough time to feel comfortable with it.

I tried to use few other scheduling systems before but I always thought they were somewhat incomplete, something was always missing, from design point of view to missing features. For me it's always about ease of use and how everything is organized. I can say that BookSteam got it all figured out and I recommend it

• Coordinating with students is difficult. Booking virtual classes and scheduling remote mentoring appointments and consultations are tasks that universities and colleges struggle with
