Acctivate Inventory Management vs. IBM Sterling Order Management

Acctivate is best suited for very basic inventory needs. It syncs up well with Standalone Quickbooks and tracks physical inventory really well. I wouldn't recommend it if you need a complex suite for a larger business. Needs a lot of improvement. If you need a vendor, purchasing, PO system - I would suggest looking elsewhere.

• Solid customer history and report capabilities
• Efficient purchasing and reordering module

• Centralizing data.
• Instantaneously updated data.
• Ad hoc reporting.

• Not user friendly.
• Hard to maintain on the back end
• Seems old and clunky.

• Wider variety of sourcing configuration
• Product Documentation
• COM Features need to better so that Customer case handling is facilitated

The package of Sterling Order Management / Sterling Store / Sterling Call Center works very well and it supports the expansion to Geographies like US/EU/JP/China, some of hottest markets for e-commerce.

Better history, inventory control and PO re-ordering capabilities than the old Sage100 and Mas90 software

Warehouse Management System which is mainly focussed on warehouse fulfillment but not on the routing and availability tracking
