ADP Celergo vs. PrismHR

ADP Celergo is well suited for companies that are in one country and moving to a new country/location, which we are in the midst of as we add European offices. This multi-national software has allowed us to seamlessly make the transition for some of our employees. This may be less appropriate for companies that are only operating in one country.

PrismHR is well suited for running payroll and generating reports, managing employees, and creating a database with employee pay and benefit information. This wouldn’t be a learning and development platform or performance management system. It’s also not a great tool for automating data per department or financial dashboard. Lastly, I do not think previously it had a strong enough cyber security which is why there was a data breach. Thankfully sensitive information wasn’t compromised though.

We had previously used Paylocity and Workday and they were a step below ADP in terms of payroll processing and reporting. This application has given us increased efficiency in our payroll process and cut down our time significantly. We selected ADP Celergo as we were adding additional countries to our company and it made this seamless

We previously used TriNet, ADP Total source, ADP Resource. PrismHR is more basic in design for both the manager and user. But in the end, it does the same work all these other platforms perform, but at a lesser cost which is better for the company as it saves us money so we can pass along savings to our employees.
