AMS360 vs. Vertafore Agency Platform

Scalability, ease of use, ease of access, integrated services. This solution works for 2 man shops all the way up to 150+ with shared services, etc. Vertafore is working towards a unified look/feel, which will only solidify the need to work with any/all of their products.

Vertafore is great for everyday insurance service and doc storage. It works well for invoicing. Vertafore is smooth is bridging client information to PL rater, making remarketing simple. We used to reinput all of the client information in order to give quotes. Its now the click of a button and all information transfers

• Lacks faster, intuitive, modern User Interface.
• Lacks option to search for data in activities.
• Does not create logs even for closed activities (suspense).

This is by far the most robust agency management system I have used that works for all sizes of agencies. Others have better options here or there, but they are highly customized for a specific type of agency. AMS360 is a one size fits all type of solution, and it works well for us.

Vertafore is relatively easy to use for general use. The point and click features for everyday use are pretty self explanatory. I like the 2 factor security as well as the overall cloud security of the system. That is very important in todays cyber environment. Single sign on is also a big help.

Its very good. They have teams for each software product they offer. They have specific teams available for specific tasks such as data migrations, upgrades, etc. The employees they hire for their support teams are always knowledgeable about their products and are good to work with. They also speak clear english which is a plus when details matter and an incorrect or misunderstood word/phrase could cause issues.

AMS360 is a solid platform to run an insurance agency. Their support during issues is stellar. Our issues came only after we said we needed to pivot a different direction, then everything went to pot.

We selected Vertafore Agency Platform after considering it's ability to provide detailed reports on everything from line of business to company comparison. We also visited another agency that was using Vertafore Agency Platform and received positive reviews from them.
