Likelihood to Recommend	No answers on this topic	Google vault is good to use when you have large document files which needs to be put in cold storage or turn cold storage to hot storage in case the documents need to be retrieved. I t works well on automating tasks around till how long one needs to hold on to the data and then retire the documents as well. Some areas where the Google Vault would be less useful is if some documents needs to be used frequently and they are put in the vault as Google Vault is expensive to use very frequently. Pros	No answers on this topic	Archiving - Archiving of emails, chats, etc, Pretty easy to use and have some amazing features wrt to duration, access, etc. Search - Post archival, Google Vault makes it pretty easy to search for relevant content and eDiscovery. Alternatives Considered	No answers on this topic	Veritas Enterprise Vault although the best backup solution present was quite expensive and difficult to implement at an org level. Google Vault is very smooth and easy to implement with orgs already using Google Workspace for business.
