CData Sync vs. Integrate.io

Evidently, CData Sync is an excellent middleware tool that is perfect for syncing data between systems. It is especially suitable and works well on SQL servers, DB2, MySQL, and Snowflake, and some of their brothering domains. However, it is a limitation in working with Sage 50 API. But if it is extracted with ODBC, it works well.

Integrate.IO or formerly XPlenty can be used for various needs:

• Multiple Sources (Excel, CSV, Text File, Blank File Type, All SQL Type)
• Multiple End Points (All SQL Type)
• Integration to Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Re-using the same package in different platforms which result to less development
• Value for the money

• Collecting data from different sources and making these available for BI tools or other IT systems.
• Their support department is really helpful when you are facing issues. Sometimes they refer to their documentation and sometimes they can help you right away.
• Generally I’m really happy with the ease of use. The software just does its job very well and we’re really getting a lot of value from it.

• Although efficient for SQL servers and MySQL, as well as Snowflake. It is not strong for other database engines, and an upgrade on this would do a lot.
• The installation process is manual as opposed to the cloud installation it should be.
• A feature of syncing auto increment ID key, that will help in existing data management.

• It's not always easy to use.
• Debugging can be challenging when error logs lack specificity.

Tableau is another similar software tool, unlike CData Sync, rather transforms data into actionable insights. While CData Sync works with automation, Tableau uses a drag box on its AVA, which in turn slows the work speed on the syncing of data. Over the years, I enjoyed the friendly and customizable option of CData Sync over Tableau's.

Integrate.io offers more customization options than Datorama, allowing businesses to create their own custom integrations and workflows using their API and SDKs. Integrate.io's pricing model is based on the number of data transactions, which may be more cost-effective for businesses that have a high volume of data.
