Checkr vs. DISA Global Solutions

I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to any talent team hiring at scale. We run large scale hiring campaigns for field teams where new sites ramp up, think 50 plus employees. In those case, chekr's ability to launch and track checks in bulk is a lifesaver.

DISA Global Solutions has great customer service response times and their representatives are knowledgeable. We did have a special case where the candidate had a couple of names and the Social Security Administration was not able to confirm his Social Security Number. It took DISA Global Solutions a couple of attempts to get this completed, but the representative was communicative and knowledgeable.

• The all reports screen, it would be useful to have them sorted by most recent at top automatically.
• The Form SSA-89 instructions should be clear that it must be hand-signed and electronic signatures are not allowed.
• The SSN Address Trace should be communicated more often to the company that it isn't being completed. Sometimes the pre-employment screening is pending for a couple of days when this is the only step missing because the candidate is not answering/responding. We need these candidates to start quickly and the few days the report is pending can affect us.

It has plenty of customization that you can do to help with sending information to those who need it rather than to just one person for all things. Allowing for more workflow customization for your organization's needs.

DISA Global Solutions platform is user-friendly on the candidate and company sides. There can be improvement on the All Reports screen where the reports are listed by date with the most recent at top. Also, the pending pre-employment reports that are waiting on the signed Background Consent form and the Form SSA-89 take a few clicks to get to. There should be an easier way to see the pending pre-employment screens that are awaiting forms.

We have not used any services other than Checkr. We started using Checkr over a year ago and have had no need to try other services. Checkr provides us with the services we need in an easy, complete format. Background / Criminal history checking are our primary use of Checkr and it provides these seamlessly.

DISA Global Solutions has customizable options in creating packages specific to certain roles and management levels. The users don't have any issues when filling out their portions of the pre-employment screenings with DISA Global Solutions. As a company representative, DISA Global Solutions is overall the easiest platform to use, customize and is responsive.

• It is sped up our onboarding process quite a bit since background checks now happen at a pretty fast pace.
• Integration with our ATS has also kept our workflow simple, so my team doesnt need to get training on a separate software and manage multiple logins.

• DISA Global Solutions has had a positive return on investment on our business as it's mainly quick process. It takes an average of 4 days before we get the completed pre-employment report.
• We do have a few cases were it takes longer than 4 days, but that is due to pre-employment drug screenings and the lab delays.
