Overall Satisfaction with Checkr

We use it as our core background screening solution across all US operations. It's fully baked into our ATS, so checks launch automatically once a candidate accepts a conditional offer.

Pros

  • While Checkr is powerful, sometimes it becomes too handoff. For edge cases like international checks or roles requiring specific verification. The system doesn't always flag missing pieces early

  • Because candidates can track their own background check progress and submit required documents through Checkr directly, our recruiters handle much fewer follow ups.

We had hardly any issues setting it up, and using it requires some brain muscle at first, but it gets easier with time.
