Checkr vs. Manatal

I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to any talent team hiring at scale. We run large scale hiring campaigns for field teams where new sites ramp up, think 50 plus employees. In those case, chekr's ability to launch and track checks in bulk is a lifesaver.

Storage of applicants data for tracking their profiles for relevant openings through metadata tagging, interview management and job listing locations scouting and best ways to post them are a few scenarios where we found that Manatal is suited very well.

• The ETA calculation to predict when screening will complete for each background check report is good
• The SSO is a huge plus point and helps us to seamlessly login
• the chrome extension comes in super handy to add and update information
• the Background Screening tailored for various regions save a lot of time in formulating the same especially if your company is spread across multiple regions

• ATS and CRM are all in one app.
• Automated handling of duplicate candidates.
• Job board postings on LinkedIn can be done automatically.
• It's very simple to use.
• Career page with the ability to be customized.
• There are too many good things about this to list here.

• It can be difficult to get support when you do have an issue.
• Account manager is not as attentive as we would like.

There are more affordable options out there but checkr is reliable and it definitely an easy premium to pay for the reliability

It has plenty of customization that you can do to help with sending information to those who need it rather than to just one person for all things. Allowing for more workflow customization for your organization's needs.

First of all, there is an hands on live training after you submit your interest form. The account manager for you will explain in language of choice (in our case: Thai). Then, there is an ongoing support and online repository for how to guielines. And all the guidance materials are described in graphics so it's pretty easy to learn. But yeah, the first video live training, you need to focus 100% to get the most in the shortest time!

Quick responses from our account manager and from the client support team. We are often responded to within the hour if not, then less than 24 hours.

They are very helpful and reply within a couple of minutes.

We have not used any services other than Checkr. We started using Checkr over a year ago and have had no need to try other services. Checkr provides us with the services we need in an easy, complete format. Background / Criminal history checking are our primary use of Checkr and it provides these seamlessly.

Manatal fits best when it comes to job requisition and candidate management, though platforms like ZipRecruiter are used widely in the industry, Manatal still has some features which make it an outstanding system like resume parsing to find the apt skill set of candidates for matching them with the job.

• It is sped up our onboarding process quite a bit since background checks now happen at a pretty fast pace.
• Integration with our ATS has also kept our workflow simple, so my team doesnt need to get training on a separate software and manage multiple logins.
