Chose ClickTime
All other programs we have looked at did not allow for us to create billable clients to track time against. They were simply time and attendance platforms for tracking when employees worked.
Chose ClickTime
Our organization was using Smartsheet to track project hours. We found out that our team was spending more time logging hours and didn't have the time to allocate these hours to their project. ClickTime solves that problem in our organization plus the added benefit that …
Chose ClickTime
ClickTime is the first product of its kind I have had to use at work. Previous methods were always based in Excel documents and involved a lot more manual and redundant work for the same end result. It would be great if there were a better tie to our project management tools …

Chose Homebase
Paycom has a time tracking feature that integrates seamlessly with payroll. Homebase is more useful as a standalone software where you don't need payroll. With Homebase, you are only paying for what you need, versus with Paycom, where you have to purchase a whole suite of …
Chose Homebase
Homebase is simpler to use. Easier to navigate and is much cheaper than other alternatives! We had trouble when I worked as they were harder to reach our ROI. Deputy was too expensive and it was the reason we decided on Homebase! Employees also find it easy to use on their end!

I cannot think of a situation where ClickTime would not be suited. Whether you have 1 or 100 employees, 5 or 500 jobs, when time is entered into the system it can be tracked, compared, and managed. It's particularly good for any company that needs to track time for hourly billing or to look at the average times it takes to do various jobs for flat billing - both of which our company does.

I loved using Homebase! The best feature, by far, is scheduling in shifts! It really could not be easier! For restaurants and bars it is the easiest and best software! Using the payroll feature can be very easy! The only downfall is trying to separate scheduled worked hours and overtime. The layout is simple and easy to navigate. The only real con I can think of is that lag.

Cons
  • I don't really have much that could be improved on - for everything that I have needed to use ClickTime for, it has been easy and intuitive.

  • Notifications could be more punctual
  • Employees should be able to pick up shifts outside of their scheduled times! Right now managers need to do it.
  • Importing hours on QBO payroll could use attention. Doesn't separate normal hours from overtime.

Homebase is very easy to use. Not a lot of training or direction is needed to get it going. Easy feature to track employee hours. Able to use centrally located tablets for employees to clock in and out. A very cost-effective system that also saves time when processing payroll. Employees love its features.
