Cloud Elements shines when you want to offer multiple options to the user on a type of system, such as supporting integration to CRM and wanting to offer Dynamics, Salesforce, and HubSpot on equal footing. If you only have a single integration with a single system, using Cloud Elements adds an unnecessary layer of abstraction.

We have used oracle cloud-based solutions for 8 years and it has been very good. We had a cyber-attack recently and our files were protected. We are lucky to have security but we need to switch more applications to oracle. We are hoping as we integrate more fictions that they all work together seamlessly.

Cloud Elements
- The API itself is very robust and easy to use, being a standard REST interface, standard HTTP response codes, well-packaged error messages, etc.
- Their uptime is great! I think I've seen one (short) 5-minute' blip' the entire time we've been connected for any type of primary function.
- Their support is top notch, they respond quickly, and the team that works with you is communicative and knowledgable.

- Block Volume provides durability and stability to data. IOPS can be changed on the fly. Always stay true to the promised performance.
- Block Volume can be encrypted with ease to meet compliance. Can also be easily integrated with OCI vault service for extra security.
- Object Storage and File Storage are other forms of storage that are secure and extremely easy to configure. FSS is one of the best in the industry when it comes to reliability and performance.
- SSD block volumes are persistent in OCI unlike many other clouds.

Cloud Elements
- The only thing I can think of that they could improve is the quality of the assets they produce in the go-to-market process. This is a huge value add service, but the quality of what was produced was lower than what we would have produced internally. We spent more time going back and forth on the assets than it would have taken us to build them from scratch.

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) is a fully managed service that makes it a little hard sometimes to fine tune HPC workloads, for example AI/Deep learning training where a lot of data transfer and compute is needed.
- The initial setup can certainly be improved with less steps to make it faster and easier to deploy compared to the competition, for example Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Documentation and best practice documentation for OKE can be improved especially since there are not a lot of customer references available for large scale deployments that need fine tuned performance.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a great product. Although, as compared to other cloud services, it lacks a few features, it is a very good product that is easy to use, and it was very easy to train our clients in this product. Therefore the product is highly recommended to use for the clients.

Getting in touch with their service support, their ticketing system process is ridiculous. Just to create a support ticket request takes almost two hours to navigate the create a ticket process. By the time you find something that matches your issue, there's more additional information they ask for, it's almost they don't want to you create a ticket or open one. If the issue was on-premise, it would be faster and easier to reboot the server and forgot creating a service ticket.

The Universal Credit model (yearly contract) is well suited for workloads that are static & predictable in nature. But for short-term workloads, it's not at all suitable.

I chose this rating as I see to feel it is a tad above average when it came to meeting or exceeding what I needed in my client organizations.

- The Free Tier option can be used to test easy of configuration and deployment
- Since pricing is in U.S. Dollars, it can be a problem in countries with less stable currencies
