codeBeamer ALM vs. Mitratech PolicyHub

In my opinion codeBeamer is well suited for any activity where detailed tracking is needed with teams involved. It can be less suited for small projects which do not last long, or are not continuous, etc

If you need a centralized location for policies and procedures, this system is great for the cost and effectiveness. While other systems had more bells and whistles, PolicyHub had everything one needs to maintain their P&Ps without costing a small fortune.

• Metric calculation.
• Would be nice that cB is a source of truth, i.e., that say SVN commit is done only from cB; know this is difficult to achieve.

• Document retraction can be confusing. Document in the library will still show as published even though it has been retracted.
• Reporting is lacking in some areas. We have had issues meeting compliance requirements for document review status dates.

Sometimes info in codeBeamer can be lost, in principle, if not well organized by the user, info can never be found, or can be forgotten about, etc

Excellent support professionally. Also, thanks for giving me for free access to SaaS cB for my hobbyist project.

There were a number of calls and fixes that had to take place. we have a number of patches in places and bugs that needed fixing. we identified issues as we went along and became the company trying to test the system with no real benefit to us.

codeBeamer is by far better.

• Can be overhead.

• It has enabled us to maintain a central database of P&P to ensure everyone is on the same page. We were completely paper/manual before so some things didn't get updated appropriately. This enables us to review and comply with requirements we have as a federally-qualified health center. It also makes it easier for us to pull policies when we need them.
