Communique Conferencing vs. Demio

Communique Conferencing would be best suited for mid- to large-sized organizations that require reliability, scalability, and high data security. They can definitely support large-scale events that are customized to reflect the event's brand and objectives. You can go the self-service route or engage their project team as much as you need.

Communique Conferencing is less suited for small, basic Zoom style events.

From live to automated webinars, you have options to control the content and create the webinar you want while operating in a tool that was specifically made for webinars. You can even redirect your attendees to a particular URL after the webinar ends if you have a special offer or promotion for your registrants.

Usability is critical with virtual events both for our team to set up and administer as well as for our attendees. Communique Conferencing is easy for our team to administer. We survey our attendees during and after virtual events. The feedback regarding usability is very positive.

Overall it is a good webinar platform. Others may have more options but they are way more expensive.

I love the chat support team at Demio. They're timely. They're thorough. They're polite. They even send funny gifs and emojis. For more serious or complicated questions/issues, I have been invited into a personal Demio webinar with a technical specialist who walked me through exactly how to achieve what I was looking to do and explained everything clearly. Demio's support team is fantastic.

ON24 - A better platform, better support, much better pricing

Patchable - They laid off a lot of staff this past year. This had a tremendous negative impact on the product quality and support.

Zoom is a powerful tool for video communications. With the explosion of video meetings since March of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, webinars that take place on Zoom have an almost Pavlovian response as many folks have a subconscious response or feeling towards the Zoom interface, as they feel like they're in a meeting rather than at a webinar or digital event. Demio is also a true webinar solution, rather than a video communication platform that has been 'converted' into a webinar solution. Demio has features and capabilities that other platforms lack, and the interface is a fresh experience with no preconceived notions.

Although the problem was not on Communique's end, their experienced tech support team were able to provide insight that helped the on-site production company quickly isolate and resolve the issue.
