Piwik PRO

I cannot say much about it because we don't have a lot of specific scenarios where we're using it and it applies only to our industry. It's obviously great for tracking the customer journey and to keep track of all relevant numbers. We didn't have much experience with marketing campaigns before we founded our company so with Piwik PRO we learn a lot about the effects of different actions.

Cons

Convertro (discontinued)

  • No apparent end-to-end solution for implementation.
  • Constant changes to implementation which has resulted in hundreds of hours of reworking the tagging setup.
  • No universal tagging method.
  • Numerous tags to be implemented based on a variety of data sources.
  • After 2 years of working on implementation, data is still not being captured consistently.
  • Convertro looks to us for solutions rather than providing any.

We had to contact the support several times in the beginning and they really took their time to explain the different functions in detail. So in terms of support I can definitely recommend Piwik PRO.
