Demodesk vs. Parabol

Demodesk is perfect for sales and marketing professionals, particularly in the technology & software space. Instead of screen sharing a demonstration, you can use their platform. This causes many fewer issues with lagging, poor internet connection, etc., which causes a much smoother demonstration of the software. It is great for marketing as well as being able to incorporate branding and improving consistency in the appearance of sales meetings.

Parabol has been very useful in running meetings in person as well as digitally. Parabol become extremely useful for us in COVID when we used smart meeting scheduling and run them in an agile way using Digital Kanban board and sticky notes, easy to manage check-ins and integrations with internal tools.

• Integrations with internal tools.
• Smart Scheduling rules can be much advanced like Calendly.
• More flexibility for users.

The recording space in the cloud and the virtual display is something Microsoft Teams is missing. As per my personal experience, Demodesk is much more faster than other conference tools. Also, it's more reliable when the internet connection is low or not good. The lag rate is a lot less, which makes this tool a differentiator.

The capability to create reflections and comments while maintaining anonymity is a very useful feature that contributes to group engagement without individuals feeling that they have to censor what they say. Parabol's anonymous functionality promotes honest discussion and feedback that most likely would not occur when employees feel that their input would not be taken seriously.
