DeskTime vs. Timesheets by Tempo

When we made the decision to go cloud based and send our employees home to work remotely we needed something that would help us and them manage their time and keep everyone on track. Desktime makes the team more aware of how they are spending their time both individually and as a team. It allows them to see and track what makes them most productive and what times of the day they are most engaged. Keeps projects on track.

tracking time on actual tickets being worked is a great fit. trying to track soft functions that normally have nothing to do with Jira is much more cumbersome and difficult to manage.

• Calendar integration is easy to set up and can make logging time even easier
• Chrome extension is also very handy to track time on the fly
• Tempo-UI is pretty user friendly, like the ability to favorite jira tickets and duplicate time entries.

• Minor things, like changing tabs on list of tickets on the calendar view doesn't reset the scroll so sometimes it looks like you 'lost' your tickets and it can be confusing.
