If you often get lead lists for import, large databases, a lot of users manipulating data regularly, then this is very necessary. Otherwise, I wouldn't see a huge need. I will say that we have found more cost effective apps that have a little more what we need as far as customization and more features.

The product can be run on-premises or in the cloud. It is a fantastic option to reduce the size and storage requirements of backup jobs. If your backup system can already produce a reliable reduction in storage up to 75% then I would say the QoreStor appliance would be irrelevant in your case. It does not perform backups itself. It is simply an extra step to reduce size, encrypt and offload backups to the cloud. this reduces the load on a backup system to handle other tasks while the QoreStor takes over.

I don't have a lot of time to learn brand new processes, so the ease of dupecatcher saved me a lot of time that I would normally spend hours doing manual work, merging duplicates. "Ignore" some apps don't allow you to ignore dupes, as some may know this is absolutely necessary sometimes. Alerts that notify SF users when they are creating duplicates. Sometimes it will flag false duplicate results. Mass delete option is not available, and would be very useful. The support team is the main reason I am sticking to Quest/KACE products. They are stellar to work with and always responsive when I need help. The team listens to the user's recommendations for added features and tends to add the ones that really have merit. Support is everything when it comes to working with such a company

We had DupeCatcher first, but did demo a few other similar products and decided to go with a different product due to the fact that they had a lot more features, customization, and excellent customer service.

When I evaluated the Dell system it was an entirely new server on-site, with licensed levels of inlocking the storage it had on board. For a smaller organization, the Dell system was not cost-effective with a large upfront payment, and additional hardware to manage on-site. The QoreStor system was a virtual machine that could pop into my current system and just use allocated storage already in place. In addition, the upfront cost was dramatically less than the Dell option and no additional hardware
Read full review Return on Investment Any tool that can catch duplicates is something almost any CRM using company needs. So obviously this will always have a positive impact on a company. I wouldn't say we had a negative impact but we were able to find tools that did what DupeCatcher does and them some with a higher price tag, but you get a lot more features, and in my opinion what you would want/need/expect out of a dupe catcher.
