eversign vs. Formstack Documents

EverSign is well-suited for smaller organizations needing to sign any volume of documents, but is unable to afford more expensive options, like DocuSign. The functionality and options are impressive for how cost-effective it is compared to better-known alternatives. If you are sending many larger documents, EverSign may not be the best option. It can be difficult to review the documents in EverSign itself, so it's better suited to signing a larger document already reviewed off the platform. Organizations that can afford to pay the higher price for a more efficient option may want to do so.

[Formstack Documents (formerly WebMerge) is] well suited for a mid-size organization that has multiple data inputs and needs to provide structure and professional document generation. As helpful as it is, the cost would prevent smaller businesses from realizing the cost savings that a larger one will.

• Ease of use. Unlike Docusign, when you create text fields on your doc, it allows you to enter the text into the box directly, whereas I have to click on the field and enter the text on the right hand side panel in Docusign.
• Speed. The documents load pretty quickly.
• Notification. It informs you every time a signer has signed the doc.

• Using the template was a little hard to understand when setting it up for users to sign.
• If you don't know where to click, logging in can be a little confusing.

• We've had some issues with document formatting when the Formstack document comes through. Nothing outrageous, but it has been very inconvenient and annoying.
• The Formstack website is not attractive or user friendly.
• I think it could be clearer to Formstack users that it is a tool that needs another tool, not a tool all its own.

DocuSign is another alternative. However, it is much more expensive. For a small business we tried to avid working with companies that are more expensive. DocuSign is more well known too, and perhaps has more features. However we can find other alternatives to these features. Like sorting and uploading these documents manually. However for a larger company, this would be something to take into account.

Each of the programs above answered a specific call to action. While each addressed a small portion of our need, they never quite fit the bill for what we needed. It was actually a representative from three of the ones above which selected WebMerge. They wanted to sell their product, but knew that we would be unfulfilled if we went with them

• The return on investment has been very good. It's very cost effective product. Our service team is on the phone and it takes away from the customer service if they are having to input the same information on applications. Web Merge eliminates additional key strokes while giving customers more time to run their business.
