ShowMyPC is a web conferencing and remote administration and help / support tool from the small company of the same name in San Francisco, California.
Well suited for both our workplace and virtual meetings, especially when people are not in one place. It is also more appropriate with audio, visual, and captions. It is also more appropriate to send a recording to your drive for reference on parts that a host may not have captured.
If you need unattended remote access, you will need one of the paid plans, so for a quick always on remote support option, [ShowMyPC] may not be the best suited. If security is an issue and your client's compliance rules won't allow always on remote access, then ShowMyPC is probably the best on-[the]-fly remote access on the market. On demand access is always free and can be done via browser or via a very small client download.

The admin can change the role and make anyone as admin of the current session.
Even if the meeting gets disconnected due to network in the admin's side error still it remains running on the user's side.
Multiple people can share screen together at the same time.
The admin can make the meeting open to all so that every time someone joins the admin does not have to allow them one by one. Once it's open, all can join without permission of the admin.

One major one — I always say that we cannot send attachments during the meeting. Teams has that, so I believe Google should add that as well. Because you can have the conversation in the messages, but you can’t provide a file. So let’s say I have a technical conversation with someone, and I want to share a document, like an architecture diagram — I cannot send it. We have to use Gmail or Drive for that. It can be integrated for sure, so that’s an improvement that definitely can be done.

This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom
Google Meet is very easy and simple to use. I can schedule a meeting right on my calendar - it literally takes a few seconds. There is no additional app I have to open to schedule anything. Guests can click on the link easily to join any meetings. 10/10!

Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Problems have not persisted in our use of this product. Problems are resolved quickly and easily, with or without personal Google support.

I use Microsoft Teams, but obviously Google Meet is much better than that because there are some challenges which I see as part of this. One of the main pros that I see here is that in Google Meet, whenever you have all those recordings as part of the Google Suite, you have those recordings stored in Google types. So that's the same Google product and everything stays in the same thing.

ShowMyPC lags behind its competition when it comes to usability and smoothness in operations, its UI on the web is complicated and seems out of place. The high point of this product is its customer service provided through chat support for any issues which is instant. The product also lacks integration with rd party CSPs for file sharing and it does not have a MAC client which works against it.

I wasn't involved in the unit pricing factor. So far I used Google meet in the office where I got access to all these Google applications including the Google Meet feature. So I wasn't involved much in this pricing factor of Google Meet and also regarding the contact terms of the product.
This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.
It's definitely the way that we engage with our customers and each other. So I think it's really good that it can help you bring remote people together and feel like you've met with them online. And then when you meet them in person you're like, this tracks, this definitely coincides with who I saw online. So it definitely is a really good platform to just bring people together, but remotely.
