SourceForge is a B2B software discovery platform, featuring 4000+ categories in its comparison engine that potential buyers can use to compare software by user reviews, features, pricing, integrations, operating system, and deployment.
Well suited for both our workplace and virtual meetings, especially when people are not in one place. It is also more appropriate with audio, visual, and captions. It is also more appropriate to send a recording to your drive for reference on parts that a host may not have captured.
I recommend SourceForge to anyone or business that needs both commercial and open source software. This platform has a wide variety of software with many categories that allow easy search for any project, in addition to the fact that searches can be done separately (commercial and open source software) so as not to have mixed results which go with different purpose. In addition to the fact that the community of this platform is quite active and that there are always times to discover new projects that can be useful for a company or individual person.
The admin can change the role and make anyone as admin of the current session.
Even if the meeting gets disconnected due to network in the admin's side error still it remains running on the user's side.
Multiple people can share screen together at the same time.
The admin can make the meeting open to all so that every time someone joins the admin does not have to allow them one by one. Once it's open, all can join without permission of the admin.
One major one — I always say that we cannot send attachments during the meeting. Teams has that, so I believe Google should add that as well. Because you can have the conversation in the messages, but you can’t provide a file. So let’s say I have a technical conversation with someone, and I want to share a document, like an architecture diagram — I cannot send it. We have to use Gmail or Drive for that. It can be integrated for sure, so that’s an improvement that definitely can be done.

The overall design that SourceForge has really leaves a lot to be desired, although the entire platform works perfectly, I think that the design should be much more attractive.
There is currently no feature to save your progress on a review you are writing, so if you are writing a review and the browser is closed for some reason, all progress of the written review will be lost.
This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom
Souceforge was very straightforward and easy to manage. The leads worked for us so there is not a lot else to say about why I'd use it again. This isn't some complicated software product, it is a simple inbound marketing channel that is meant to generate leads and help us with brand awareness and it did exactly that.
Google Meet is very easy and simple to use. I can schedule a meeting right on my calendar - it literally takes a few seconds. There is no additional app I have to open to schedule anything. Guests can click on the link easily to join any meetings. 10/10!

SourceForge is super easy to use and very intuitive. And their support team and campaign managers help whenever we need it. Using SourceForge as a user is easy, and administrating a business software listing is easy as well. They also have great documentation.
We've never had any issues or downtime with SourceForge. Since we've been a user, the platform has never been down. Or at least never that I've noticed.
SourceForge loads extremely quickly whether you're using the front end or administrating your product listing on the back end. All pages are snappy to load--no issues with page speed whatsoever.
Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Problems have not persisted in our use of this product. Problems are resolved quickly and easily, with or without personal Google support.

I hardly ever use the support on SourceForge, as I have not needed it. Their product works well for me. One time I had to email them and they got back to me the same day, but that's my only experience.
When we first signed up, they pair you with a campaign manager who trained us on how to use the product properly. The product is simple so the training was only about 30 minutes and after that we understood all the features and how to make the most of it. Most of the work came with making a custom landing page and building a follow up process for our sales team.

I use Microsoft Teams, but obviously Google Meet is much better than that because there are some challenges which I see as part of this. One of the main pros that I see here is that in Google Meet, whenever you have all those recordings as part of the Google Suite, you have those recordings stored in Google types. So that's the same Google product and everything stays in the same thing.

G2 has a larger commitment time upfront and for a more expensive rate, which wasn't the best option for our team as we were just exploring the resources that existed out there at the time. We preferred Sourceforge as well due to its subscription service, making it easier to commit from the start.

I wasn't involved in the unit pricing factor. So far I used Google meet in the office where I got access to all these Google applications including the Google Meet feature. So I wasn't involved much in this pricing factor of Google Meet and also regarding the contact terms of the product.
SourceForge has been plenty scalable for us. Our marketing department is able to edit listings and our executives can also log in to the platform if need be for leads and reporting information. SourceForge offers multiple user access and role permissions, so it's pretty scalable and easy to use for our entire team.
This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.
It's definitely the way that we engage with our customers and each other. So I think it's really good that it can help you bring remote people together and feel like you've met with them online. And then when you meet them in person you're like, this tracks, this definitely coincides with who I saw online. So it definitely is a really good platform to just bring people together, but remotely.
