Help Desk Migration vs. IBM Lift

Any time you have a complex migration project where losing critical data isn't an option. We previously used Help Desk Migration to migrate from Salesforce Service Cloud to Zendesk, and after a seamless migration, they were the perfect partner to enlist for the migration to Odoo Helpdesk. If you need reliability, structured mapping, and a communicative team to guide you through the process, this platform is for you.

IBM Lift is the most effective tool for migrating mass data from different on-premises applications into the cloud with high speed. I would recommend it since it offers two data migration options; Disk transfer service and cloud mass data migration, which all work perfectly well.

• Listening and gathering information
• Transitioning work among their staff - we talked to 4 different people during the project, and ever single person was up to speed on the work and status
• Reasonably priced

• It extracts data from DB2 at vert fast speed
• It can resume from last left off
• The CLI is very easy to use

• I think the field map could be a little more entuitive with better explanations of what each field is for.

• Even though it can be hectic to migrate data into the cloud with IBM Lift, the support team is free and highly knowledgeable. Also, IBM Lift is well documented in detail explaining all methods to migrate data easily.

Overall, the service is very easy to use. The only hang up I ran into was that it's difficult to avoid re-running the demo once the demo is complete and you're ready to look at the full migration options.

Mainly used vendor PS teams and individual consultants in the past plus some more enterprise-gearer ETL platforms. Relokia's Help Desk Migration service beats them all by a massive margin due to low cost, high speed and low complexity

Before Implementing IBM Lift at SquareTrade, we were using AWS Database Migration Service, which was not only expensive but didn’t offer automatic rapid recovery from common issues during data migration.

• In terms of time spent, Help Desk Migration cut our time down to just a fraction of what it would have been had we migrated the articles ourselves. This saved us a tremendous amount of time, manpower, and overtime.

• It saved us weeks of development time
• Without Lift, we may not be able to handle several billions of records data every day
• It can easily transferred to another person to maintain
