Hoopla vs. Nearpod

Hoopla is a valuable ally to improve the team's performance. [I]t is a great help for those teams that have defined and [created] clear automated metrics. However, if you are in a team where the metrics are manually evaluated, it can be hard to get excited about the progress, since it will take longer to refresh.

Nearpod is great for teachers who want data to help gauge how engaged students are during lessons. Additionally, teachers in one-to-one schools can better use these tools with a lesson delivery system like Nearpod. Nearpod is especially effective when a presenter has to deliver information to a large class.

• Simple leaderboards that stack rank individuals in the areas that you want to measure
• Instant notifications and providing the virtual "pat on the back" when something positive occurs
• Effective salesforce.com integration that makes in easy to administer
• Great user community to share ideas, tips, and best practices

• Provide timely and individualized feedback.
• Allow for the teacher to check for understanding, for the entire class, in one view.
• Present an array of different interactive lesson items, at the fingertips of every student.

• I wish it ran in a browser and not as a full Chrome app, would have made setup easier.
• It was nice to have default images out of the box, more would have been nice.
• For smaller companies, it can get pricy, quick. We 100% see the ROI to be clear.

I gave it a 9 because it really is an extremely easy service to use. I would comfortably say that a brand use user could be set up and using it within just a few minutes. Hoopla has been very great about making any new update very user friendly and easy to use and figure out

While there is some learning curve to fully understand and know how to lead a lesson with Nearpod, once mastered successfully, Nearpod lessons are simple to create and deliver. When leading a lesson, it is relatively simple to see how everyone in the class performs and how well they participate and understand.

I have really enjoyed my relationship with our client success manger, Annette. She is always willing to hop on a call for a quick question and is very responsive. She has taken the time to walk me through how to upload new reports, set up new metrics and leaderboards, while also being helpful in setting up a new channel to broadcast

The support staff for Nearpod is top-notch. I have not had technical issues, but I did have a concern about my bill and they reached out to me nearly immediately to address the problem. I was very satisfied with how they handled the interaction from beginning to end. They did a great job.

They were both comparable based on the tool and results on how we wanted to Broadcast sales metrics and KPI’s across the entire sales organization. Hoopla just seemed to be much easier to use with fewer bells and whistles. We felt based on the pricing structure and how we planned to display hoopla on monitors throughout our office that it was the best choice to move forward with

I don't know of a product off hand that does what Nearpod can do. Between the library of pre-made lessons, the ability to create your own lesson content, the ability to add interactive content, Nearpod offers a unique engagement platform for instruction

• We hear music and folks cheer when a "Breaking News" announcement occurs. The community level engagement can not be quanitified
• The contest environments have helped to lead sellers to stay an extra 30 minutes and make 10 more calls just to pass someone up. We see our call volume increased because of it.
• We measure the trails of our solution that our sellers create from leads. We can see an active pursuit of those conversions to be at the top of the leaderboard. More trails, lead to more opportunities, that lead to more sales.

• The impact is awesome. It gives students a digital option other than PowerPoint for presentations.
• The feedback tool allows you to follow students in realtime.
• The shallow learning curve made it easy encourage other faculty to try it.
