ImportYeti vs. Logility vs. Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM)

This tool proves invaluable in grasping the landscape of market participants and their interactions. It enables us to conduct comprehensive market research, equipping us with the knowledge we need to make informed decisions. While it excels in providing insights into the volume flow within the market, it may fall short when it comes to pricing or the value of trades. Nonetheless, its ability to decipher market players and dynamics remains a strong asset for our business. We can rely on this tool to navigate the market terrain and gain a competitive edge.

How well the system is going to match with the company's business.

Oracle SCM Cloud is extensively used in my organization for a complete
Supply chain. We use all the Procure to Pay modules starting with
Procurement, Order management, and Financial modules. We also use Product
Information Management and Product Development Management modules to create and maintain items and products that we sell. These modules are interfaced with Inventory Management for shipping and supply chain demand and supply planning as well. Analytics is integrated with all these modules so it is very useful to keep track of metrics. However, if you are not using Sales Cloud and use another CRM system, there could be some hiccups in syncing the system if you don't have a middleware.

• Being able to more easily see who else a supplier manufactures work with as helps you understand quality being produced

• Product profile for different seasons without adding another module.

• UI - Needs a definite update. Tool can do wonders if UI is intuitive.
• Excel based data doesn't upload easily.
• No open APIs, integration is not possible with other tools.
• Extra charges for a module for integration.
• Implementation is not easy.

ImportYeti is aimed for simplicity and cost effective solution. Many of its competitors provide a wide range of solutions, with a much greater price point. If you need a complete range of solutions, you may consider other options. ImportYeti is great in its scope, for querying the information regarding US imports. Is structured and really easy to use.

I didn't make the decision to select Logility.

Oracle SCM is best suited for Small & Mid Sized Business, whereas SAP SCM is best suited for large scale businesses. Oracle SCM has Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SCM) integrations which is missing in SAP SCM. Oracle supports modular integration and electronic data integration (EDI) which was one of the pre-requisites of the client.
