Infor Learning Management (LMS) vs. VAIRKKO

We have enjoyed how easy it is to get training to employees, both onsite and off, as it is a cloud based solution. We previously had a myriad of applications to try and deliver, track, and report on trainings. Infor Learning Management allows for a quick look at where we are at within our business as well as an in depth dive of each users certification process. Our only request is the cloud platform be more accessible for data mining. With our current BI offerings we bring most of the data on premises and this involves a few hoops currently.

VAIRKKO is very well-suited to track HR information and scheduling. It is a bit more difficult to create training and disseminate it to employees, but once you get past the learning curve, it works nicely. It's easy to track your employees' certifications and credentials, with reminders for recertifying and the ability to update certs as needed. Scheduling is not difficult, and one can track staffing issues easily.

• It currently doesn't support offline content reading on Mobile. This support would be really helpful to read while offline.

• When I update an employee's general information page - if they do not have Custom User name listed - it puts my name in there and my password - when this happens the information I added is not going to be saved. If I am working on the top of the page - I don't see this unless I remember to check. Please don't let this be an automatic fill in.
• Too many search tools - highlighting the most used would be great
• When a person's schedule is changed - you lose their previous schedule. So when we need to look back and see when a person worked but realize they changed shifts and we no longer have it in Vairkko - it becomes very challenging.

I am giving 8 instead of 10 because we need to implement some new features in the system and this is a long process to accomplish. If it was easier and shorter, I would give a 10. Also, lately we are facing some technical issues which impacted some users experience, but Certpoint is working hard to catch up on this.

The support for Infor Learning Management was quite prompt and were able to resolve the issues within the SLA

Infor Learning Management was selected because the organization owned other Lawson/Infor products and we were concerned about the integration. Ease of integration was a primary selection criteria. The price was also better given the products we already owned.

Certification Cloud is easy to use and stands out from a pricing point of view. It just does the job at a really low price point

• We have been able to deliver trainings to remote areas previously not available
• We have been able to reduce the need for physical trainers covering the same topic, live and in person.
• We have been able to standardize the data being taught to our employees
• We have reduced head count based on the ability to track and manage trainings.

• It's allowed management to perform at-a-glance training performance, and given us the ability to modify our training on-the-fly.
