• Edge component - this needs to be improved to provide a seamless connection.
• The inbuilt functionalities like in ME instead of building separate production process.
• The EDHR reports needs to be similar in SAP ME.
• Configurable OEE reports and history reports delivered out of the box.
• Integrated with non - SAP ERP.

SAP Digital Manufacturing is a very well thought and engineered solution that does really well in trying to map most manufacturing use cases and makes it possible to manufacturers to avoid expensive and complex custom solutions and instead implementing fit to standard solutions that needs less maintenance and are less subjected to issues

The SAP Digital Manufacturing cost of operation is much lower, compare to other competitors like that of salesforce and to top it off since has been in the business of digital manufacturing for quite some time, it is more trustworthy.

• As it is cloud based product, quarterly upgrades impacts the production and needs effort and resources for testing
• Product is not fully matured. It still has bugs
