Kixie vs. LangSmith Agent Engineering Platform

Suited if you want to hear old calls. Not suited for teaching new SDR's how to talk or what a good call is and why. Kixie doesn't transcribe either.

In my personal experience I am using LangSmith Agent Engineering Platform in production-grade AI Systems, due to the feature of instant visual tracing of complex graph loops, API segmentations, tool calls and so much more without any boilerplate to be mentioned. Still the drawbacks are visible in development or research phases, where open-sources technologies to go well, or tasks which can be better achieved with single API call or static sequential chains.

• Kixie integrates seamlessly with our CRM (Zoho), meaning it updates call notes directly on the customer's CRM profile.
• The one-click dialing feature directly through our CRM is a great feature. It's so simple; just search for a name, one-click, and you are on the phone.
• The local presence feature is a nice touch for cold calls. It provides a local area code when cold calling to increase the likelihood of an answer to the call.

• User interface, sometimes the list you are calling on the tool can glitch and not show you the info of the lead.
• Integration with more CRMs like Agencyzoom
• An email automation option similar to text messages.

Kixie provides a nice user interface. There is a bit of a learning curve to load leads but it's not difficult. It's just learning where to go and how to load lists for the reps. Once you have it figured out, it's easy to get lists loaded for reps and give them the ability to manage those leads

In my opinion the technologies and concepts which I use with LangSmith Agent Engineering Platform like API tracing, prompt management, Prompt Hub and Agent Builder were like pioneer in the market with LangSmith Agent Engineering Platform. There are some scopes of improvements in terms of compatibilities and open-source tooling gaps but overall, it has to be on the list if you are doing AI-engineering at Production level.

Pretty generous with the Free-tier and best suited if you are using open-source technologies.

• Kixie's dialer allows us to dial directly from our CRM
• The voicemail drop feature saves time and allows our BDRs to move on to the next call right away
• The automatic log calling saves even more time instead of having to log the call manually

• Simple and Easy.
