ParishSOFT, a Ministry Brands company, provides church management software designed to streamline operations, foster collaboration and improve communication. The ParishSOFT church software is designed to help Catholic churches, dioceses, and other organizations become more effective in their ministry and to save time and money. They include free web solutions with a web page, email, online calendar, and facility scheduler.
For the price and the features available, Localytics is one of the best options. It is more robust in areas that we don't need it to be and overall there could be simpler flows for sending push notifications or performing actions that you need to do every week. Also, the data it sends back on how push notifications perform is basically useless. There needs to be more explanation on the impact notifications have on users. The data would always say that notifications drove less engagement but we would see engagement go up every time we sent a notification.

ParishSOFT is well suited for general accounting purposes and for keeping parishioner databases. ParishSOFT is not as good if you want to export and analize specific data.

The biggest thing I would like to see with Localytics is the capability for more correlations. The limited amount of correlations available does restrict the type of analyses that could be done with the data.
An easier interface to move data into Microsoft Excel would be very useful, rather than creating annoying workarounds.
More/better automatically scheduled reporting, as well as an Excel plug-in to access the data rather than being restricted to the Localytics interface.

We have been on ParishSoft for over ten years and it is interfaced with all of our critical systems. We know the system as well as our users. Changes in systems never go very well

The platform is intuitive and user friendly, but it needs work to make it more functional. The ability to export into Excel is there, but the data has to be "cleaned up" before it is usable. It would be great if you could upload data as well as download data, especially in the budgeting files.

It would take several weeks to hear back from the billing team. It took 3 months to resolve an invoice last year. Their technical support is very responsive. I would typically get a response in under 24 hrs.

Sometimes the support team is very busy and can take a while to get in contact with them. When we do, the individual is very knowledgeable about the system and they collaborate with us for solutions

Implementation was seamless. ParishSoft assisted us at the time of downloading our existing information from the system we were on and uploading the information into ParishSoft. We found no errors in the conversion.

During one major upgrade to the offering module, we lost a lot of productivity because the changes had not been tested. Until the bugs were fixed, which took several weeks, we had to pay for additional help to get routine tasks completed.
We completely lost all integrity of our parishioner postings one year because of a "glitch" that ParishSOFT would not support fixing unless we paid an hourly rate...even though the error was on their part.
