MarketMuse vs. TINT

As I am a content marketer, every day I have to fight to get top-ranked for my articles. So, SEO should be perfect. For my content side of SEO, MarketMuse is a lifesaver to me. It helps me to plan my content, get the score of my content, and the suggestion to optimize my articles. It saves my time and money too.

[Tint should] Improve response times in between initial quotes and questions to same-day support as promised. Overall, for our limited needs for a social media at hosted conference, it suited our needs, but would not have paid extra for customer support - you will be on your own for this one. Customer support was factored into cost, which is why it is difficult to recommend TINT.

• Availability of content inventory on MarketMuse makes it easy to measure the quality of the content before uploading or updating it.
• With AI-generated content, I am able to write and upload content like a pro that has high-ranking keywords.
• Identifying key topics and subtopics while creating content to upload on the blog saves a lot of time.

• The social media wall became an instant hit at our conference.
• The social media wall customization was excellent in terms of branding and customizations.

• Would be nice if the connect feature was domain swappable
• A better way to save and import queries would be nice
• Having some writing tool integrations would be nice

• Customer service: it took 10 business days to get initial questions answered from our sales contact, Matt. After we purchased the mid-grade package that came with prioritized email responses, it took 4 hours to respond to an emergency issue. We were never informed that our LinkedIn accounts would not be compatible with the Tint platform, which is significant is this is one of your main sources for content generation. After being able to jump on to a call with Alex and Customer Success in the middle of a crazy busy conference, we were promised a follow-up call to see what could be done about billing. 2 emails later and no response. I just received responses to some tickets 30+ days after event ended. Do not pay for the mid-grade package. Your emails will not be prioritized. Be sure to double check that all social media platforms you intend to use are functioning with platform before purchasing.
• The auto scroll feature is a bit abrupt in transitions and would advise smoother visual when sliding between social media posts.
• Better improvement on duplicate posts and pictures - many still made it through filter and generated repetitive content.

The support I have received from all MarketMuse staff at each step of the process has been excellent. They are very friendly, quick to assist, and also provide really good training to teach you how to use their product. Additionally, their own blog is a wealth of information regarding different aspects of content marketing, from articles to video interviews.

MarketMuse is more cost-effective than BrightEdge and does more for writers and editors that are strictly focused on content. It keeps people in one system after their first draft. Writers and editors do not need to go into multiple tools to look things up manually, saving valuable time. This enables them to produce more content more quickly.

I chose Tint because of the ability to customize and better brand for social media wall engagement. And for promised customer support, which ultimately Tint lacks. I'm a nice guy and I also believe in holding companies accountable to the high standards that are promised.

• Competitor research and keyword research has enabled us to determine the best content to improve our SEO.
• Improving the brand of our agency on search engines has enabled us to reach more buyers.
• Creating high-ranking SEO content has improved digital marketing in the cloud that turns prospects into buyers.
