PhonePe vs. Xoom, a PayPal Service (personal use only)

Primary benefit is hassle-free payment to the merchant. You can purchase both online and offline without using cash to make the payment. Simply scan the QR code using the Phonepe app on your smartphone to make a payment into the merchant's account. And as said, its rewarding, you surely get a scratch card on every transaction that may either offer you cashback or a discount code for some vendor site shopping.

Xoom is best suited to send and receive money between two people who live in different countries, not only that we can also send money to our friends, colleagues, family members directly in their bank accounts. They have a great currency exchange functionality that directly converts our received money into our local currency, and deposits it into our bank account within a few minutes. The only drawback is that not many people know about it, it needs good marketing so that more people can use this service, and from my experience, I can say it is very secure and a good competitor of Payoneer.

• Very fast transfer and very secure as being of PayPal.
• Receiver don't need to download the app or use Xoom.
• It supports bank and debit card to transfer funds and same with the receiver.

• Like GPay, you dont have the option for secure login using PIN or password.
• Sometimes your transaction gets stuck in between for long duration, so that's a technical bug with this app.
• if you are booking your travel tickets with PhonePe and in case you cancelled it. Then you wont get any refunds for that.

• Some destinations take longer to get delivered to.
• Higher amounts of money are harder to transfer.

It's one of the most easy to use and intuitive platforms. The app is very powerful as well.

The implementation was largely successful. Since this was a large shift from normal practices, we faced a few teething problems, but largely I'd say it went well.

In case of payment failed we check the payment on the our app its showing on our app then it will definitely come other wise it will be refund to the customer, Its a unique feature. None of the other app has this feature. Its very simple to use as compare to the other compititive apps.

We agreed to select Xoom as the main payment method since it had more flexible options. It gives the user a full guarantee of transacting safely and when there is a conflict the customer support team acts quickly. The charges for sending and receiving money are relatively low as compared to other platforms. The mobile application has biometric login features making it difficult for unauthorized users to access confidential information.

• PhonePe instantly fetches the complete bank information based on your verified number.
• You can even buy gold and invest in mutual funds via same app.
• There are lots of fake accounts on PhonePe so the company should allow legitimate account users only.

• We have had an uptick in payment processing times.
• We receive payments from customers on time with no lag between invoice and payment dates.
• Overall Xoom has literally added to our bottom line by allowing more than a physical check payment option.
