Overall Satisfaction with Xoom, a PayPal Service
We use Xoom to settle bills and clear work-related expenses. Colleagues who travel a lot need to be reimbursed for their expenses - and we use Xoom to do that. This is particularly helpful as we have teams in more than 10 countries.
Pros
- Same day delivery
- Large coverage worldwide
- Easy to use app
Cons
- Large exchange markup compared to competitors.
- Linking with PayPal balance is tricky.
- Low daily limits
- Same day settlement
- Worldwide coverage
- Mobile app
- Positive impact with respect to same day transfer of funds.
- Cash pickup is another plus.
- Large markup fees is a huge let down.
Xoom has worldwide coverage - most of the competition doesn't. Also, converting currency is painful in other apps. If only the markup fees were lower, Xoom would be a killer service!

- Settling expenses.
- Enabling hassle free travel expenses.
- We've used Xoom in the usual way. Nothing out of the box.
- Disbursement of gift certificates if that will be made available.

Yes - Google Pay was replaced by Xoom as Google Pay didn't have interconnected worldwide coverage.
