Pilot.com vs. Zeni

I think they are a great fit for any small business looking for bookkeeping and even some ap services. I like all the financial reporting they do, which is something I would struggle with on my own.

Zeni is well suited for any organization that needs accounting work. They have been great for us since we are in the SaaS space and they adjusted our accounts to reflect SaaS needs and metrics. So far I think Zeni would be a fit for any size of company. I think it would be great to start out with Zeni so that you have them in place as you grow.

• I would say that only room for improvement would be to offer more educational opportunities that explain what the numbers mean.

All I know was I am a victim of ACH through the Zeni system. My business will take years to recover from this fraud.

The Zeni team has always been quick to respond and get on a call if needed.

Nobody else seemed to have the same capabilities and fit with our company culture as well. QuickBooks or Xero alone don't offer the same level of service and would require too much effort on our part. We used inDinero with my prior company and they just missed a lot of things that ended up causing problems.

We used Bench.co before switching to Zeni- our books were often not available when promised, we had issues with duplicate transactions, and we had serious communication issues when trying to file our taxes. Zeni corrected our books and got our taxes filed quickly and seamlessly.

• I believe Zeni was taking my money without permission
• Zeni did not verify the company to be legitimate. They let a gmail address with no website qualify. All they needed to do was look up the real company and verify this is fraudulent.
