Proliant vs. Zoho People

Overall, I would generally recommend Proliant to a colleague as I think the system and structure has great bones and is generally very easy to use. However, if a colleague was needing a system with a robust reporting system or access to immediate support, I would be less likely to recommend the system.

Zoho People is well suited for organizations where they need a self service HR tool for tasks like attendance, leave management and time tracking. It is perfect for offices where employees like to work independently and benefit from easily accessing and managing their own HR records. But it is less suitable where internet is an issue or GPS is unavailable which makes the process of check-in/check-out frustrating.

• Data Management- It's useful to have all data related to HR in one space, especially using the cloud. Separating data into relevant categories also makes administrative work a breeze.
• Employee Resources- Having a central place for employees to reach out to HR is ideal.
• Customization- Creation of forms is especially useful for a growing business.
• Integration- Integrates well with other systems.

• Reporting is limited to data that is pulled by pay period--not by date worked, so if trying to determine how much an employee earned during a quarter--you have to calculate this manually
• Employee records are limited to admin only viewing--so managers can not see payrates, upload documents to employee files or update expiration dates to licenses, etc
• User guides in the knowledge base are out of date and don't cover the recent updates to the system--or outline processes that are no defunct
• Limited integrations with other HR platforms are available. Ex--outside ATS, candidate assessment tools

• Check in and GPS issues - The app sometimes struggles with location detection during check-in which delays logging in
• Limited offline access - Zoho People should have had an offline functionality making it difficult for employees to check in or log hours when internet connection is an issue
• Clunky user interface - I personally find the interface bit too cluttered which makes navigation difficult

Proliant is pretty easy to maneuver and get used to. There are some things than can be tedious but nothing too difficult where you have to spend hours to get it to work. The payroll processing is pretty straightforward and that's the core reason why we use their software.

Because it is one of the best HRM software i have ever used and literally my experience with Zoho People is amazing and we are still using this software in our company to track employee records. Zoho People is perfectly fits on our organisation where employees is mandatory to run a health business. Thanks Zoho

Because Zoho is perfect in all aspects.

Proliant is the only payroll software I have used, and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. It gives me everything I need in simple, easy-to-use software. If I have questions they have quality customer service. I get calls weekly to change to other payroll services, and I don't consider changing because there is no need to change - I have everything I need here. Proliant does exactly the job I am looking for it to do.

One of the innovative CRM software products on the market is Zoho People. Compared to Salesforce and SugarCRM, Zoho People comes up to their standards. Zoho People is an integrated suite of CRM tools that allows small businesses to work more efficiently. Zoho People is a better platform for managing HR and other human resource management. And it's a cost-effective solution for start-ups.

• i am not able to give this information because I don't believe our firm fully uses Proliant
• I was just made aware of some of the benefits Proliant can offer through this survey
• The only negative is that when the "pre-wire" requirement was activated this year, we were not told ahead of time and it caused a lot of confusion and delay when we tried to process the first partner payroll in January.

• For us, the time/attendance tracking function of Zoho People has done a lot to increase accountability for scheduling and attendance. Since we are a volunteer staff, scheduling can be difficult, and this has made it so much easier to quantify and track everyone's weekly time commitments.
