RedTeam Flex vs. Zenkit

RedTeam does a good job of allowing the company to view information in a way that is helpful to them. The superintendents out in the field don't necessarily need to see all of the same information that the people in the office do, so field share has been great for helping them manage their projects and submit daily reports of job progress. I can see this program working for both small and large companies and with a few tweaks, I might rate it even higher.

Zenkit is a good tool to manage your own projects and sharing progress with colleagues. If you are looking for a tool to accomplish this use case, Zenkit would be my first recommendation.

• Building a proper estimate/proposal
• Managing the project from start to finish, including any changes
• The accounting process works well with our quickbooks, making the process for accounting easy

• Multiple Views - Kanban.Cards, Lists, Tables & even Mindmaps
• Addition of custom fields which included numbers
• In table view this can be filtered & numbered fields can have totals at the top.
• Zenkit has handy pre-buitl templates for different kinds of use such a CRM
• Has the ability to change field content across cards via bulk action. Neat!
• Can have formulas in Cutom fields
• Calander syncs to Google calendar
• Can bulk import Trello lists & cards easily

• Inability to delete certain information such as old duplicate vendors, contacts, etc.
• I run into a lot of road blocks with obscure permissions
• Some reports have issues when printing

• There are some instances where the dashboard gets laggy and buggy. But goes back to normal in a few minutes
• Integrations still not that advanced--but there's still room for improvement
• Not recommended for teams with more than 6 people-- you will need to upgrade your account to Premium.

The support is always friendly and offers fast solutions if possible. Bugs were removed in the next hours after contacting the support. They have also a lot of tutorials and great documentation.

Procore is [a] product that we [are] familiar with as well because a few other companies that we have partnered with use Procore. The program is a good CPM, but RedTeam stands out to our company for the customer service. Over the years we have been able to communicate opportunities to make something more efficient and they have implemented some of those suggestions. That is invaluable to us.

As described before, Zenkit adds a lot more flexibility to the things the other applications can do. But this also means that there is no predefined structure which might be helpful for some people. Zenkit is working on that and is releasing some apps building on the core, so that could improve over time.

• It has eliminated the need for hundreds of spreadsheets for each job and has saved time overall
• It allows all facets of the company to see information as they need to see it
• It's a central place for everyone to store and access information rather than having files all over individual computers.

• For the price, it is definitely worth a punt.
• Helped me manage tasks, processes and strategic goals thus saving time & being more efficient.
• SImple to learn & plenty of tutorials so onboarding was straightforward.
